Channing Hayden’s 55-year maritime career includes work on both the Mississippi and Calcasieu Rivers. Much of his work has been securing adequate funding to maintain these channels for the safe and efficient passage of deep draft vessels, dealing with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at all levels, various federal agencies, Members of Congress and Congressional committees in that regard.
